Benjamin is an engineer by training and a project manager by trade. Over the last two decades he mostly worked on telecommunications infrastructure from the smallest to the largest scale. In the late 1980s he participated for a couple of years in the ISO Modula-2 working group. In 2009 he co-founded the Modula-2 revision project together with Rick Sutcliffe and has been working on the design and specification since then in his spare time. He is the editor of the language specification and the principal author of the project's Modula-2 compiler which is still work in progress.
